In PwC’s 27th Annual CEO Survey, Indian CEOs outlined their top three reinvention priorities to create and deliver value. ‘Adopting new technologies’ came out on top. As per EY’s CEO Survey, Indian leaders are implementing AI technologies rapidly into their business agenda with 70% of CEOs planning increased spending on new tech and AI.
Visionary business leaders are going a step further. They are taking proactive steps to create long-term competitive advantage through the strategic use of new technologies. Whether it’s using blockchain to digitise supply chains, quantum computing to make better predictions, or generative (gen) AI to fast-track the next big innovation, these leaders are taking giant steps.
Gen AI, in particular, has captivated the imagination of Indian CEOs. Close to 50% of them believe gen AI will increase revenue, and 71% believe it will improve their employees’ efficiency. According to a recent Goldman Sachs report, gen AI has the potential to increase global GDP by 7% and boost productivity growth by 1.5 percentage points over a 10-year period.
With technology disrupting every facet of how we create value today, ‘tech leadership’, once an aspiration, has quickly emerged as a critical success factor for growth, efficiency, and customer experience. In fact, one might argue that today, ‘tech leadership’ is almost synonymous with ‘business leadership’. They are two sides of the same coin.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
Prof. Arpan Kar is Professor in Information Systems in the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Management Studies and School of Artificial Intelligence. He also supports multiple ministries and universities in advisory boards, assessment and faculty selection/assessment committees.
He woks on adoption, usage, user experiences and impacts of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Digital platforms, Mobile apps, Metaverse and Blockchain. He has authored over 200 publications and edited 14 books. As per Google Scholar, he has over 33,000 citations and an H index of 65 (Feb 2024). He is currently Associate Editor in ABDC A ranked information systems journals like Communications of the AIS, Journal of Computer Information Systems, and Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management. Earlier, he was the Founding Editor in Chief of IJIM Data Insights, published by Elsevier. He also held editorial positions in Decision Support Systems (ABDC A*), International Journal of Information Management (ABDC A*), Information Systems Frontiers (A), Journal of Public Affairs (ABDC B), etc in the past.
He has undertaken over 40 sponsored projects and training programmes with organisations like BASF, PwC, Fidelity, EY, World Bank, Facebook, CIPPEC, Govt. of India (MEITY, DST, MoT, DRDO, MHRD, etc). He has generated revenue exceeding 200 Million INR. He received the Research Excellence Award by Clarivate Analytics. He is also BK Birla Distinguished Researcher Awardee. He received the Best Seller Award from Ivey / Harvard. He has received more than 20 other awards such as 3 IFIP Best Papers, ACM ICEGOV Research Award, Careers 360 Excellence Award, Tata Consultancy Services Gold Medal, Project Management Institute Award, AIMS Best Researcher, and IIT Delhi Teaching Excellence, etc.
Programme Sample Certificate
Candidates who score at least 40% marks overall and have a minimum attendance of 40%, will receive a 'Certificate of Successful Completion'. Candidates who score less than 40% marks overall or have a minimum attendance of 40%, will receive a 'Certificate of Participation'.

Refund Policy
Candidates can withdraw within 15 days from the Programme Start Date. A total of 80% of the total fee received will be refunded. However, the applicable tax amount paid will not be refunded on the amount paid.
If you wish to withdraw from the programme, you must email cepaccounts@admin.iitd.in and iitd.execed@emeritus.org, stating your intent to withdraw. The refund, if applicable, will be processed within 30 working days from the date of receiving the withdrawal request.
