Advanced Certificate in AI Product Management and Leadership
Features
Programme Overview
The Advanced Certificate in AI Product Management and Leadership from IIT Delhi is an AI-first product leadership programme designed for professionals looking to build and lead AI-powered product, including product managers transitioning into AI. Engineers, designers and analysts moving into product roles, and founders, consultants and business leaders responsible for AI-driven outcomes.
Led by Programme Coordinator Prof. Biswajita Parida, Associate Professor of Marketing at IIT Delhi's Department of Management Studies, alongside senior AI product practitioners who deliver the AI-stack modules and case simulations. This is not a prompt-engineering workshop: the curriculum moves from product first principles (discovery, framing, roadmapping, go-to-market) into what AI products actually turn on - LLMs and RAG, evaluation and guardrails, LLMOps, AI UX and AI economics.
Across the programme, participants run discovery and frame AI-worthy problems, build a defensible roadmap and go-to-market plan, spec systems built on LLMs (prompting, RAG, agents), design evaluation sets and guardrails for probabilistic systems, master AI UX, the data flywheel and cost-per-task economics, and run a responsible-AI audit and governance review. Learning is tested against five sector case simulations - consumer AI, enterprise AI, fintech, healthtech and SaaS/edtech - and closes with a timed team build of a working AI product, defended live at an optional campus immersion at IIT Delhi. The programme equips learners to step into AI Product Manager, GenAI/LLM Product Manager, AI Platform Product Manager, Enterprise AI Product Owner, AI Product Leader, Data & AI Analytics Product Manager, Responsible AI & Governance Lead, and AI Product Growth & GTM Manager roles.
