  • Candidates need to secure minimum 50% overall to be eligible for ‘Certificate of Participation’.

  • To receive the Certificate of Completion, candidates must score at least 50% overall across the end-of-program MCQ exam (60%), assignments and project (30%), and attendance (10%).

  • The organising department for this programme is the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

  • The application fee of INR 1,000/- + 18% GST is non-refundable and non-transferable. This fee is in addition to the programme fee and will not be adjusted against the total programme fee.

Refund Policy

  • Candidates can withdraw within 15 days from the Programme Start Date. A total of 80% of the total fee received will be refunded. However, the applicable tax amount paid will not be refunded on the amount paid. If you wish to withdraw from the programme, you must email cepaccounts@admin.iitd.in and iitd.smff@alv.talentsprint.com, stating your intent to withdraw.

  • The refund, if applicable, will be processed within 30 working days from the date of receiving the withdrawal request.

It is a 6-month executive programme offered through the Continuing Education Programme (CEP), IIT Delhi, with the Department of Mechanical Engineering as the organizing department.

The programme covers technologies and systems shaping intelligent manufacturing, including IoT, automation, AI, robotics, digital twins, immersive technologies, additive manufacturing and cybersecurity.

The programme combines:

  • LIVE interactive learning from IIT Delhi faculty

  • A curriculum spanning the smart manufacturing technology stack

  • Cases, analytical exercises, assignments and projects

  • Learning supported by digital tools

  • Lab exercises and demonstrations

  • A three-day campus visit at IIT Delhi

  • A Certificate of Completion from CEP, IIT Delhi, subject to programme requirements

The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. GST is applicable.

Yes. Candidates who withdraw within 15 days of the programme start date are eligible for an 80% refund of the programme fee received. GST paid is non-refundable. No refunds will be provided after 15 days from the programme start date.
