Professor Sanjay Dhir

Prof. Sanjay Dhir is Professor of Strategic Management and Area Chair at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. His research addresses how organizations build and renew capability under institutional constraint, developing strategic thinking, organizational ambidexterity, strategic innovation and alliance dynamics at its core constructs. A second stream examines these constructs into public systems, where they establish equity, quality and inclusiveness as strategic outcomes, grounded in empirical study of health, elderly and remote populations, and of gender-based disparities in access. His work spans digital transformation, healthcare systems, artificial intelligence governance and public procurement.
He has published over 130 peer-reviewed research articles, authored seven books, and developed case studies published by the Richard Ivey School of Business and distributed globally through Harvard Business Publishing. He presents regularly at the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of International Business and the Southern Management Association. He was ranked among the Top 1% of Researchers Globally in Business and Management (2025), named to the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists list (2025 & 2026), and listed among Research.com’s Best Business and Management Scientists (2026). He has received the Best Reviewer and Associate Editor awards from an ABDC A-category journal.
Prof. Dhir has led more than 30 sponsored research and consulting projects for the Government of India, international development organizations, and industry. He was Institutional Management Partner for India’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and has led major engagements for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the Ministry of Education, PATH, the Clinton Foundation, the University of Queensland and Population Services International.
He served as a technical expert on the development of the Ayushman Setu application with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as IIT Delhi’s nominated expert in the Delhi High Court committee on oxygen infrastructure and on the Government of NCT of Delhi’s state-level committee on oxygen infrastructure. He is a member of the National Technical Advisory Group on oxygen infrastructure.
At IIT Delhi, he is a member of the Senate and of the Institute Housing Committee, and is Programme Coordinator for the doctoral programme at DMS, having previously coordinated the MBA programme for six years. He is a recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award and the Mrs. Veena Arora Early Career Research Excellence Award at IIT Delhi, and has twice been recognized as Institute Professor of the Year.

Professor Rishika Nayyar

Dr. Rishika Nayyar is an Assistant Professor of Strategy in the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She holds a PhD in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. Prior to joining IIT Delhi, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Sussex Business School, United Kingdom, for four years, where she also convened the Research Methods Group in International Business & Development. She is a holder of the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCertHE) from the University of Sussex. Her prior teaching experience also includes appointments at the FORD School of Management, New Delhi, and the University of Delhi.
Her research examines the internationalization of emerging market firms, with a particular focus on outward foreign direct investment (FDI) from India, institutional environments, and sub-national influences on multinational enterprise strategy.
Her work has been published in leading journals such as Journal of World Business, Management International Review, Journal of International Management, and Journal of Institutional Economics, among others. She has received several prestigious recognitions, including the Alan Rugman Scholarship and nominations for the UNCTAD Award for Investment and Development. She has presented her research extensively at reputed international conferences, including the Academy of International Business (Global, UK, and South Asia Chapters), the Indian Academy of Management, and the Reading International Business Conference.
Dr. Nayyar has taught a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in strategy, international business, and international management. She has supervised PhD scholars and MSc dissertations, led curriculum development initiatives, and played key roles in academic administration, including accreditation processes and the organization of nationally funded academic programmes and conferences. She is deeply committed to innovative pedagogy and mentoring the next generation of management scholars.
Programme Sample Certificate


Certificate of Completion: Candidates who score at least 50% marks and have a minimum attendance of 50% will receive a ‘Certificate of Completion’ from CEP, IIT Delhi.
Participation Certificate: Participants will be awarded a ‘Participation Certificate’ if they have less than 50% attendance and/or less than 50% marks in the programme evaluations.
The above e-certificate is for illustrative purposes only, and the format of the e-certificate may be changed at the discretion of IIT Delhi.
Only one e-certificate will be provided and it will be issued by CEP, IIT Delhi.

Note:
*GST @ 18% will be charged extra in addition to the fees
The application fee of INR 2,000/- + 18% GST is non-refundable and non-transferable. This fee is in addition to the programme fee and will not be adjusted against the total programme fee.
Refund Policy
Candidates can withdraw within 15 days from the programme start date. A total of 80% of the total fee received will be refunded. However, the applicable tax amount paid will not be refunded on the paid account.
Candidates withdrawing after 15 days from the start of the programme session will not be eligible for any refund.
If you wish to withdraw from the programme, you must email cecpaccounts@admin.iitd.ac.in and crm.support@jaro.in, stating your intent to withdraw. The refund, if applicable, will be processed within 30 working days from the date of receiving the withdrawal request.
