Frequently asked questions
Immersive technology is entering a new phase, AR, VR, XR and gaming are converging into one connected ecosystem, powered by the same real-time engines, 3D content pipelines, spatial design and immersive storytelling.
Across education, healthcare, gaming, retail, architecture and simulation, organisations are reimagining how people learn, interact and experience.
As these technologies converge, organisations need professionals who can understand individual technologies and combine them into complete immersive experiences. Building expertise across the immersive ecosystem enables professionals to contribute to this shift across design, development, storytelling, gaming and product creation.
Professionals can build careers as AR/VR designers and developers, XR product specialists, immersive experience designers, 3D artists, animators, VFX professionals, UI/UX and game designers, architects and creative technologists, across AR/VR and XR product development, enterprise training and simulation, immersive media and virtual production, and game studios and interactive entertainment.
It is a 6-month executive programme offered by CEP, IIT Delhi, with the Department of Design.
It builds capabilities across the complete immersive technology ecosystem, AR, VR, XR, gaming, spatial design, 3D content, storytelling and real-time development, through 13 modules, LIVE weekend sessions and an end-to-end capstone project.
Unlike programmes that focus on a single area, this programme connects the creative and technical sides of immersive experience development in one integrated curriculum, spanning AR, VR, XR and gaming, from design and storytelling to real-time development, applied gaming technology and an end-to-end capstone build.
Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply. It is especially suited to working professionals with 1–10 years of experience from design, animation, engineering, IT or the built environment who want to build careers across AR, VR, XR and gaming
